Let’s begin! 

 
Can you introduce yourself to the visitors of cinema-movietheater.com?

I am Samvedna Suwalka. I act in Hindi films. I am a dreamer but I am not the only one! Haha! 

What could you tell us about your character Bela?

Bela is an Indian Air Force wife. Her husband is a fighter pilot and he fights wars for the country.

While Bela is the ever supportive wife. She is a happy person and their is a quiet strength about her.

Whatever ups and downs the pilots go through, their families and wives go through with them, They sacrifice a lot for the country. 

What did you like when you read the script of this movie?

It is a wholesome film with themes of patriotism, friendship, brotherhood. 

It talks about the sacrifices made and the resilience of the Indian Air Force.

It’s a tribute to them. 

How did you prepare for your role?

I come from Jamnagar in Gujarat and it is a base for all the Three Forces namely the Army, Navy and Air Force. 

I have grown up visiting the Air Force base, my father had friends in the Air Force and we would get to sit in the planes. 

The culture of the forces is very different from the civilians. They are open minded, live in the moment, are disciplined and still enjoy life to the fullest.

They have a deep sense of duty towards the country. And this gives them courage. 

It’s interesting how things you experience in life come in handy at different points in time. 

How is the shooting with Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor...... and the director  Siddharth Anand?
First of all the director - Siddharth Anand is the coolest cat in town.

Directing such a big film mounted on a huge scale and he makes it look so easy!

He is in control, never loses his calm, is fun to work with and gets the job done! 

I got to dance next to Hrithik Roshan in a song Sher Khul Gaye and the teenager in me couldn’t believe it!

The whole nation had a crush on Hrithik when Kaho na pyaar hai came out and to be dancing with him was the coolest thing! 

Deepika Padukone makes everyone feel comfortable. When comes on set, she will hug you and it’s a joy to work with her.

Anil Kapoor sir is an inspiration! I just kept watching him on set and kept trying to learn from him.  
 
Where is the movie shot?
In Mumbai, Kashmir, Assam all over! 

When and why did you choose to be an actress?
 It was a childhood dream. At the age of 13 I knew I wanted to be an actor.

I think I felt a lot and felt compelled to find an outlet for all my emotions and feelings. I saw that actors got to experience and express everything through their characters and that seemed like a brilliant way to live!

This is your first reward, what memories do you keep of it? 
It’s always nice when your work is appreciated! Awards are always an icing on the cake! 

This was a very subtle character and very restrained so I was pleasantly surprised that it got noticed!  

I read about your biography on IMDb Pro that you are doctor :
"Samvedna has done her M.B.B.S. She is a doctor."
It is awesome, bravo.  Don't you regret being a doctor?
 Regret ? No! 

I do wish I had started acting earlier though cos it’s a highly competitive industry so the earlier you start, the better but then on the other hand acting requires life experience and studying M.B.B.S. gave me that. 

My education has made me who I am and it has already helped me in a few characters that I have played so no education is ever wasted. 

What is your next challenge / project?

Upcoming releases are film Ahuti, webshow - Ranneeti, 11:11

Currently prepping for a film called ‘Tantana’ (threads) directed by Mehul Agaja. 

This is a very unique film and I have never done something like this before and
I am very psyched about it! 

We begin shoot end of feb.
